I created this mug rug in honor of Cinco de Mayo, which also happens to be my husband’s and my wedding anniversary. I used an assortment of Kona solids, some decorative stitches, and a bit of trim that I found at The Pin Cushion in Vineland, NJ, to create little serapes. This one is the first one I made, and the narrow strips came out a little lopsided. The rest were a little straighter….
