take a sip of inspirationTo make this mug rug celebrating Women’s History Month, I found images of stamps featuring women online, then printed them onto fabric using my inkjet printer. I ironed freezer paper onto the fabric and cut it into 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheets, then folded a strip of painter’s tape over the leading edge to keep it from separating in the printer. I used rounded pinking shears meant for scrapbooking to cut out the stamps, then used a straight stitch to applique them onto the background. Easy peasy once you get past the printing!
