We had a number of patriotic mug rugs swapped during our project, thanks to all of the patriotic holidays we celebrate here in the United States. With Memorial Day coming up, I’ll share three of those mug rugs over the next three weeks.
Jane used a machine embroidery design from Embroidery Library to create this charming mug rug. I especially like the plaid binding that she chose to use. It ties everything together perfectly against the blue background.
This week is the final week of the New Quilt Bloggers Blog Hop, but don’t be surprised when you continue to hear more from this talented and energetic band of quilters! If you’d like to keep an eye on the group, many of us are contributing to a group board over at Pinterest that you can follow in addition to following our blogs individually.
Follow along with the New Quilt Bloggers Blog Hop, and enter to win prizes!
The co-hosts each took responsibility for one “hive” of new quilt bloggers and guided us through the process of critiquing and improving our blogs. Visit the co-hosts’ blogs to learn more about what prizes are available from our generous sponsors, plus how to enter to win one!
