Magnolia Mystery Quilt

It didn’t take long to put the borders on the Magnolia Mystery Quilt! Now to spend a very long time trying to figure out how to quilt it.

“I Will Cut You” Laser Cut Quilt

I needed a break from making decisions, so I took the time to lay out and press the “I Will Cut You” kit that I picked up from Punkin Patch Craft Designs. I rather liked thinking of it as if Colorforms and paint-by-numbers had a baby.

Stitchbook Sewalong

Kim Edith’s Stitchbook Sewalong started this week. The first task is just to make the fabric pages. Other members of the group inspired me to choose some hand-dyed fabric–I may yet add a couple of pages.

Group Art Quilt

After a couple of false starts, I settled on a plan for my section of a group quilt. It doesn’t look like much so far, but it’s bound to look quite different when finished. Since it’s due on Thursday, we’ll find out veeeeerrrrry soon.

Vintage Reimagined Challenge

The March Island Batik Ambassador prompt is “Vintage Reimagined.” I’m almost done quilting my project and can’t wait to tell its story. The quilt looks exactly how I pictured it, but BETTER. Its name is Saltwater Taffy.

  1. Becca: How do you do the curved line on your quilting pattern. Can this be done on a
    standard home sewing machine? Shirley

  2. Oh I am so excited to see your IBA quilt! I just finished the top of mine over the weekend and I am going to need to start searching for a backing. 😀
