It’s time to share What I Made for What I Made Monday! Share a link at the bottom of the post to show everyone what you made, too.

Oliso Smart Iron

A bit late thanks to a flat tire and a morning meet-up to clean quilt frames for the guild show. What a week it’s been already.

As always, no matter how late in the day I post What I Made Monday, the link-up stays open all week! So please post links to your blog or Instagram posts no matter what day of the week it is–I love to see what you’ve been up to.

I’ve made a lot of progress on the top! The blocks will be set on point, and I’ve added some blocks in the center and on the edges to tie everything together. Here’s a little teaser. (I cropped it from a more distant photo of the design wall, so it’s a bit blurry.)

I’m using only fabrics that I dyed specifically for this challenge.

Ready for the Show!

All of my family’s quilts are sleeved and ready to hang in the Berry Basket Quilters’ show this weekend. This queen sized cathedral windows quilt is ten years old–my mother made it for me before I learned to quilt. I’ve never managed to get a good picture of it, so I was thrilled to take advantage of that hanging sleeve (which, by the way, is a bit of a challenge to attach without any batting in there).

Plans for This Week

Border Four for the Border Quilt QAL. Binding that UFO to post on Friday for TGIFF. Working on the #100Days100Blocks2018 top.
