It’s time to share What I Made for What I Made Monday! Share a link at the bottom of the post to show everyone what you made, too.

My goal for last week’s What I Made Monday was to work on the jelly roll rug and to make progress on another UFO. Mission accomplished!

Jelly Roll Rug

I finished the jelly roll rug! This jelly roll made a perfect Christmas-y rug. I’ve seen people making tree skirts, too–wouldn’t these fabrics be great for that?

Wedding Quilt

I decided to keep the quilting extremely simple (for several reasons), so I picked a batting with scrim that allows a larger space between quilting lines. Now just some binding and a label stands between finally getting to share a full pic!

Two UFOs

I made progress on two of the last few UFOs on my challenge list. I basted and started quilting one of them, and achieved my One Monthly Goal for the other.

Another Quick Christmas Gift

I decided on a last-minute gift and got it pieced quickly. It won’t take long to finish. More details later…for obvious reasons.

Oak Leaf Clusters Quilt

I’ve been working on this wool quilt occasionally for a couple of years now. I won’t tell you exactly HOW few and far between those occasions have been, but let’s just say that progress has been slow. The project has been on my mind lately, so I’m keeping my snazzy S’More House Maker’s Tote near the couch to get a few stitches in when I can. I definitely need to upgrade the lighting situation in the living room, though I managed to get some work done during football yesterday. At this rate, I’ll have a finished top in about nine and a half years. (Magnetic needleminder tutorial HERE.)

Finishing the wedding quilt, the UFO that’s under the needle now, and the little Christmas gift!

  1. You have been busy! I am sure you will enjoy the jelly roll rug – it will work as Christmasy but I think it definitely works for wintery.
